The Center for Children's Diplomacy
First City Gymnasia's Center for Children's Diplomacy is established to attract gymnasia pupils to international activities still within the precincts of the educational institution for the implementation of specific ideas professed by the institution - multiculturalism and polilingualizm, development of democratic relations among the project team members, development of respect for a partner, a representative of another nationality, another country.
The CCD carries out its main project "UKRAINE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD" aimed at conveying the knowledge about the country to peers around the world, establishing children's diplomacy relations, promoting the principles of humanism and respect for the cultures, traditions and customs of other countries.
The CCD Head is Myroslava Savis'ko, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The CCD Deputy Head is Sukhobrus Igor.
The countries, whose languages are taught at school, are represented by Ambassadors.
- The Ambassadors of the UK are Solohor Anna (Form 10A) and Sluchyns'ka Valeriya (Form 7A)
- The Ambassador of the United States is Sukhobrus Igor (Form 8A).
- The Ambassador of Canada is Dariya Shendryk (Form 10b).
Oriental countries are represented by:
- Ambassador of Israel Diana Shor (Form 8A)
- Ambassador of Japan Jaroslav Chekh (Form 5B)
- Ambassador of China Tian Ken Xenia (Form 10A)
- Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Sukhobrus Igor (Form 8A)
- Ambassador of Russia Hrilyts'ka Violetta (Form 6A)
European countries are represented by:
- Ambassador of Germany Anna Vasilieva (Form 10A)
- Ambassador of Spain Hrilyts'ka Violetta (Form 6A)
- Ambassador of France Kravets Valentine (Form 7A)
- Ambassador of Belgium Tsymbal Dariya (Form 10b)
- Ambassador of Italy Hapych Mariya (Form 10b)
- Ambassador of Ukraine Prudyvus Dana (Form 9B)
The CCD meeting is held weekly.
The emblem, motto and regulations of the Centre's activities are being developed now.
The Coordinator of the Centre's activities is Sayenko S.I., the principal of the Gymnasia.
