Our Gymnasia Has Been Visited By Chinese Diplomats

On May 5, at the initiative of the Embassy of China in Ukraine we have welcomed the delegation consisting of three diplomats of this country:

Van Datzung – the First Secretary of the Embassy of China in Ukraine, the head of the department of education

Lu Tai – the Third Secretary for Education of the Embassy of China

Sun Kewen – the principal of Confucius Institute in KNU by T. G. Shevchenko

Senior gymnasia students presented our educational institution to the guests in different languages and performed a small concert. The principal of gymnasia conducted for them a guided tour around the premises and showed the Computer Labs presented by Chinese officials, the Chinese Classroom where the volunteer Chang Peng worked, as well as the library with the department where Chinese literature is available to all gymnasia students.

The principal and the delegation agreed on the necessity of continuation of studying the Chinese language in the upcoming academic year, the participation of gymnasia students in Chinese Olympiads and certain projects as well as improving the material and technical base of the Chinese Classroom.
